Join Us! 

Joining Summit College Club is an excellent way to connect with community-engaged women of diverse interests who share a common goal: to support education, opportunity, and equity for women and girls. We welcome all individuals with an Associate degree or higher, including men. Annual membership dues help fund Summit College Club programs and activities, as well as support the New Jersey State AAUW and the National AAUW. ​

Join for the Impact 

Summit College Club members work to make a difference here in our area. Throughout the year, we offer various events, including lectures, movies, and day trips celebrating women or informing the public about issues currently affecting women. Many of these programs and events are open to the public and without charge. 

​

We are proud to support higher education for young women in our local area through our annual college scholarships, primarily funded by our book sale. Throughout our history, the Summit College Club Foundation has awarded over $1.15 million in scholarships to outstanding college-bound young women.

Each year, we select up to six high school seniors based on their academic performance, extracurricular involvement, and community service achievements. Through a thorough outreach and review process, we identify these exceptional candidates.

We offer scholarships to women who are returning to a local community college after a break in their education. Additionally, we support the AAUW-NJ Tech Trek initiative, which provides local rising eighth-grade girls with a one-week, residential STEM camp at a nearby college, featuring hands-on activities.

Members of the Summit College Club have the opportunity to join various committees that support the club's mission, shape its programming, and foster connections among members. Through our interest groups, members can also engage in social activities such as movie nights, dining outings, book discussions, and more, all tailored to their personal interests and availability.

Join to Support AAUW Nationally and AAUW New Jersey

As a member of Summit College Club, you also support AAUW-NJ and National AAUW research, program development, publications, and advocacy.
