About the Event
Join Edwina Sessons, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director for AAUW NJ, as she moderates a discussion on the damaging impact of bias incidents on individuals and communities, and how we can fight hate together. New Jersey Attorney General Matthw Platkin kicks off the event with a view of how the State is fighting hate crimes today. Then three panelists tell their stories of experiencing bias first-hand. Let's discuss how we can address the risks of rising bias in our country and our communities, making all feel welcome and valued.
