About the Event
Join Edwina Sessons, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion director for AAUW NJ, as she moderates a discussion on how bias incidents impact individuals and our communities, and what we can all do to fight hate. NJ Attorney General Matthew Platkin kicks off the event with an overview of how New Jersey is working to address the increasing risk of bias crimes through the courts. Then three women from different communities "tell their stories" of experiencing bias and its impact. Let's explore this critical issue together as we work to make our communities more welcoming to all.
